Baby Girl!

Just wanted to thank everyone for their congratulations and well wishes for our baby girl. No one is more excited than me! I love my boys with all my heart and I am excited to experience all the differences of raising a girl. I am due at the end of November and can't wait to celebrate Thanksgiving with an addition to our family.

Trip to Kansas City

In July, the boys and I took a trip to Kansas City to visit my sister, Liz and her family. We went to a farm, watched Monsters v. Aliens, went swimming and spent a lot of time outside in her awesome yard. When I asked the boys what their favorite part of the trip was, they said, "Everything!" Again, I did take enough pictures. I took the yard pictures and Liz took some at the farm. Hopefully, she'll blog soon too!

The 4th of July

Clint's brother, Justin, and his family moved to Texas in June. We were so excited they came to visit for the 4th of July. It is no secret that I am terrible at taking pictures so the visit was poorly documented, but we had a lot of fun. We went to a parade, bbq'd and swam. The boys had fun playing video games and I had fun chatting with Eng and looking at house plans. We are thrilled that they are so much closer now and look forward to many more visits with them.

Sam turns 5!

Sam wanted a candy cake. He and his brothers decorated it themselves. The boys all ate the candy and left most of the cake. Clint and I took the candy off our pieces and enjoyed the cake.

Fossil Digging

Clint and his friend, Mike, were told by a friend of a dam near Turner Falls where you could dig for fossils. I kept asking Clint if he knew exactly where this place was and if it was really okay that you dig into the dam. He assured me it would be fine. After driving all morning, the dam was located...surrounded by a huge fence and no tresspassing signs. Hmm.... That afternoon a park ranger told us of a place along the highway where they got the rock for the dam. The boys had a blast and we got very strange looks from a funeral procession that went by. This was our first outing with Mike Serrano and his wife, Lindsey, and their kids, Mercedes, Hunter and Madeleine. We have since had a ton of fun with these guys. We will miss them when school ends for Mike and Clint and the Serranos will move to Texas.

Oklahoma City Zoo

This year for their birthdays, the boys got to pick a family outing.
Noah picked the OKC Zoo and their
temporary Dinosaurs Unleashed exhibit.

45th Infantry Museum

The boys loved this museum.
Of course, its all about guns, swords, missiles and army stuff.
Notice how they like to salute in the pics.
Isaac says he is going to be a fighter pilot someday.
